What you are buying
A tile on OWNED is a promotional placement on a public grid. You are buying the right to display your name, logo, tagline and link on that square for as long as you hold the highest bid on it. You are not buying a domain, a token, equity, or any transferable asset.
How ownership changes
Any tile can be taken by another buyer who pays more than you did. The minimum takeover amount is the current price plus whichever is greater: $1 or 5% of the current price. When that payment clears, your placement is replaced immediately and automatically.
Payments are final
Tile purchases are promotional placements and competitive bids. Payments are non-refundable. Ownership may be replaced when another user places a qualifying higher bid.
Content rules
Do not upload logos or link to sites that are illegal, deceptive, malware-bearing, adult, hateful, or that impersonate another company. We remove violating placements without a refund and may ban the buyer, their email address, or their email domain.
Availability
This is an entertainment product. We make no guarantee of uptime, traffic, click volume, or how long the board will keep running. If we shut the board down, tiles simply stop being displayed and no refunds are issued.
Liability
The service is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the ninety days before the claim arose.
